FIEGE and ESPRIT organise sample sale for a good cause

Doing good, together: The FIEGE location in Mönchengladbach and its client, ESPRIT staged their traditional sample sale for charity. At the annually staged event, all employees of the Greven-based logistics company and of the fashion group, which is headquartered in Ratingen, can purchase collection garments and sample items at discounted prices. Proceeds from the sale reached 55,000 euros in total, and the amount will be donated to 13 not-for-profit organisations.

Bastian Klammer, the Head of the FIEGE location in Mönchengladbach, tells us: “The campaign was a complete success, just like the years before. We are pleased to see so many of our colleagues from ESPRIT and FIEGE drop in with their families, which helped us to collect a new record amount in proceeds for a good cause. We especially wish to thank the joint organisational team, who did a fantastic job at organising the campaign from start to finish.”

When looking for suitable donation purposes, Klammer consulted the entire FIEGE location in Mönchengladbach as well as the employees at ESPRIT: “It was important to us to make as broad a selection as possible, to include the many wishes, interests, and connections of our colleagues.” In agreement with ESPRIT, the funds will be donated to the following establishments: the Caritas association in the regions of Mönchengladbach and Kempen-Viersen; Lichtblick Seniorenhilfe e.V., which helps senior citizens; SOS-Hunde Gran Canaria, a canine rescue organisation; Don-Bosco-Heim in Viersen, a home for children in need; MonRo Ranch e.V., an animal sanctuary; the Kinderschutzbund Ortsverband Mönchengladbach e.V. child protection services; Die Ahrche e.V. – Verein für Katastrophenhilfe und Wiederaufbau, a disaster relief organisation; the foodbanks in Mönchengladbach and Ratingen; Herzenswünsche e.V., LOOP Kinderhilfe e.V. and Froschkönige gegen KinderArmut e.V., all of which are organisations that help children.
