Logistics Center Hamminkeln
On a site of approximately 94,000 m² in Hamminkeln, FIEGE is developing a logistics property designed to the latest construction and environmental standards. The project will comprise a total of around 54,000 m² of logistics space, distributed across five units of approx. 11,000 m² each, complemented by modern office and social areas that fully round off the site.
Why did we choose Hamminkeln?
The FIEGE Logistics Center Hamminkeln benefits from an excellent transport location, with direct access to the A3 motorway and the B473, and is situated at the heart of surrounding logistics regions.
Hamminkeln is located in the district of Wesel in North Rhine‑Westphalia and benefits from a strategically advantageous position within the economically strong Rhine‑Ruhr metropolitan region. Its proximity to the Dutch border supports cross‑border logistics activities and opens up diverse opportunities in international goods transport. In addition, Hamminkeln is conveniently located between the logistics hubs of Duisburg—home to one of Europe’s largest inland ports—and the Ruhr region, one of Germany’s most important economic areas.
Excellent connections to the national motorway network, as well as proximity to rail freight transport and several international airports, make the location particularly attractive for modern logistics solutions. The new logistics property in Hamminkeln also ideally complements FIEGE’s existing logistics network in Bocholt and Emmerich, further strengthening regional presence and operational performance.

Innovative space concept for modern requirements
With highly efficient LED lighting, intelligent building management systems, and a high‑performance photovoltaic system with over 6,500 kWp, we enable an energy‑efficient and sustainable building operation. The concept is complemented by charging infrastructure for electric cars and electric trucks, powered by 100% green electricity. Decentralized heat generation via air‑to‑air heat pumps reduces operating costs and significantly lowers greenhouse gas emissions. The DGNB Gold certification confirms the high standards achieved in terms of energy efficiency, resource conservation, and user comfort.
