The FIEGE Group has received the Logivisor Award. The Carrier Claims Management of the Greven-based contract logistics expert won in the Retail category.

FIEGE has won the Logivisor Award. The prize launched in 2019 by the Logivisor Institute serves to shine a spotlight on companies offering especially innovative logistics solutions. FIEGE won over the jury composed of logistics and industry experts with its service offering for carrier claims. The award was presented during an official award ceremony held in Munich last Wednesday.

Stephan Meyer, Managing Partner of the Logivisor Institute, explained the jury’s decision: “FIEGE’s Carrier Claims Management supports the swift clarification of claims in the CEP segment. eCommerce experts thus handle an issue that is proving to be increasingly challenging for the sector. Thanks to FIEGE’s system-based solution, claims processing is much leaner and therefore much more successful, which saves retailers from having to invest in time-consuming research and long-winded communication with supply chain parties.”

Christoph Mangelmans, Managing Director of FIEGE’s Digital Services business unit, accepted the award on behalf of the team and adds: “We understand our role as a service provider to be that of a problem solver. It drives us in creating genuine added value for our customers. Our Carrier Claims Management significantly lowers the administrative input for deliveries that are late or damaged on behalf of our partners. We optimise the complete claims process, starting with an outbound damage report all the way to compensation settlement – even internationally across all delivery services. The fact that our concept received the Logivisor Award for us as a logistics provider of the future makes us very happy and highlights the innovative drive that our team demonstrates time and again.”

The FIEGE Group, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, is continually advancing its transformation from a traditional logistics company towards a digital service partner for its customers. Beyond its Carrier Claims Management, the family business offers a broad product portfolio in eCommerce. “Our offer stretches from international fulfilment to transportation solutions, Last Mile logistics, back-end services, marketplace management and software solutions to returns management”, Mangelmans explains. “The logic behind this is simple: We want our customers to be able to focus on their core business one hundred percent– we interconnect all sales channels and take care of the rest.”
