From returns to the processing of returned goods
- Returns: In the event that your end customer is dissatisfied with a product, we ensure uncomplicated and smooth returns processing from one of our FIEGE warehouse locations in Switzerland. You can use one of our locations as a Swiss returns address for your end customers.
- Returns processing: FIEGE handles the ‘returns registration’ in Switzerland. Depending on your requirements, VAS such as classification, preparation and disposal of returned items can also be carried out in Switzerland. We use our system landscape to provide you with the relevant information for debtor discharge, bundle the products and transport them back to the country of departure by lorry in our own system.
- Export customs clearance CH: FIEGE handles export customs clearance in Switzerland as an authorised consignor and issues the transit document. We generate all the necessary customs files and documents in our system for the return transport of the returns to the country of departure. In addition, we apply for reimbursement of the customs duty incurred on the Swiss import based on the systemic assurance of identity.
- Transport: FIEGE enables direct transport in transit to the EU by opening the transit procedure for the return transport of returns to the country of departure to ensure prompt border passage. The goods are delivered to the original point of departure within 24-48 hours.
- EU import customs clearance: FIEGE ensures that the returned goods are cleared in the EU in order to avoid import duties when re-importing the returns in the country of departure by guaranteeing the systemic assurance of identity and thus minimising your financial risk.
