A selection of our customers
The warehouse is not a cost center.
It is your margin lever.
Cost center is yesterday's thinking.
Your logistics is measured by cost: per square meter, per pick, per shipment. Yet between goods receipt and delivery, value is created that directly affects your margin, and it falls within your area of responsibility.
Customer experience is created in logistics.
It is not marketing or sales that touches your product last, but logistics: when finishing, packing and shipping. Those who deliver quality here turn logistics and customer experience into a selling point.
Compliance becomes your strongest argument.
Excise duty, MDR (Medical Device Regulation), VDA (quality management) and many more: what ties up teams today opens up opportunities and segments. Once your logistics masters the specific requirements of your industry, it opens new markets for sales.
That is why, at FIEGE, we see ourselves as the logistics provider that integrates product-level value creation directly into our customers' operations: a partner that thinks along, builds along, and lets itself be measured by the numbers.

Our approach
Developing Value Added Services individually is our core competence.
It grows from deep industry expertise: from FMCG to healthcare, FIEGE develops every service from your individual challenge, together with your team. In five steps.
-
1
Understand the challenge and spot the potential
We start with you and your processes, not with our service catalog. Together we identify potential and assess what your current process costs.
-
2
Define the target picture
Together we define the new process, perfectly tailored to your individual requirements.
-
3
Build know-how & infrastructure
We build what carries the service: certifications, training, and if needed the entire facility. One example: for MANN+HUMMEL, a VDA 6.2 center was realized within ten months of breaking ground.
-
4
Implement the process
The new process is set up directly on site, tailored to your requirements and external factors.
-
5
Make it measurable & keep improving
Every service gets metrics and is continuously optimized in live operations. This keeps it transparent whether the target picture has been achieved and performance is on track.
Customer story
Every industry has its own requirements.
For us, industry-specific means: the service grows out of your industry's requirements, not the other way around.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions about our Value Added Services
What are Value Added Services (VAS) in logistics?
Value Added Services are services that go beyond storage, picking and shipping: for example refurbishment, display building, co-packing, labeling, quality inspections or compliance services such as an excise warehouse. At FIEGE they are not an add-on, but an elementary part of the supply chain, where value creation, speed, quality and customer experience are decided.
Which Value Added Services does FIEGE offer?
FIEGE offers a wide range of services. These include, among others, returns management, refurbishment, display building, kitting, product photography as well as excise warehousing or MDR-compliant healthcare distribution. Behind every service are real customer projects.
Does FIEGE develop industry-specific Value Added Services individually?
Yes. Developing new services is firmly anchored in our understanding as a contract logistics provider. FIEGE develops Value Added Services in five steps together with the customer: understand the challenge, define the target picture, build know-how and infrastructure, implement the process, make the result measurable. This is how, among others, a deposit relabeling process in Poland and the VDA 6.2-certified logistics center for MANN+HUMMEL came about.
What does a Value Added Service cost?
That depends on the service, volume and depth of integration. There is no blanket estimate. With our expertise and transparent costing, we develop the optimal solution for you.
Which industries does FIEGE offer Value Added Services for?
FIEGE provides Value Added Services in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Industrial, Automotive, Fashion and D2C, E-Commerce, Retail, Healthcare, Chemicals, Tech/IT and Aviation, among others. Industry-specific examples are the MDR-compliant full hospital supply with Sana, the hazardous-materials warehouse for the RAHN Group and software staging for Fujitsu.
How quickly can a Value Added Service be implemented?
That ranges from weeks to months. A relabeling process was set up at short notice for the effective date of the Polish deposit scheme. Elaborate infrastructure takes longer, for example: the VDA 6.2 logistics center for MANN+HUMMEL stood ten months after breaking ground. Your requirements are decisive.
