School Library in Benin
The board of trustees of the Josef Fiege Foundation approved the amount of EUR 3,000 in 2009 for the project titled "School Library in Benin".
The money paid for the continued progression of the successful conversion of a resident metal workshop into a library for children, youths and adults.
Dialogue in Motion
To support visually impaired children and their families - such was the goal set by the Münster-based organisation "Bewegung im Dialog", which offers a specifically-designed mobility-oriented sponsorship concept with a direct connection to everyday life for the families affected.
The Josef Fiege Foundation showed its heart last year and supported this project with a donation of EUR 1,500 for the transport of mobility devices to the various course venues, to ensure that the courses on offer not only took place, but that all course fees for the families remained at a constant level.
