Funds donated by the Josef Fiege Foundation assist in particular projects of an ongoing nature with a regional reference to the locations of the Fiege Group. The family council, the governing body and the board of trustees select with a pronounced sense of responsibility those projects which fully comply with the foundation's sponsorship criteria.
Sponsorship criteria are:
- a regional reference to a location of the Fiege Group
- the project must pursue a social, employee or environmental concern
- not individuals, but only projects which support a group are sponsored
- only concrete projects are sponsored, therefore specify in detail the cause
The board of trustees convenes according to schedule once a year in late autumn. Ple
